new treatment for nystagmus

I've come up with a method of correction for the congenital nystagmus I suffer from.  Do you think you could give me some direction as to who to contact about this?  An ordinary doctor's visit isn't the place to be disclosing this kind of information so I'm coming to you, (in addition to people on "inventors' websites.  I realize I may just be reinventing the wheel but in case I'm not, I have to go through the usual steps in an effort to protect what may be valuable information.
