one more Blepharitis question

The eye Dr. told me I had a little blepharitis and to me it's a lot. My eyelashes are affected and I am cleaning them daily really no more crusting.  My question is what is all the white stuff in the eye?  I am using the drops helps a little but I can't seem to get all the white stuff to be gone.  By the way, he never told me what kind of Bleph I have.  After reading all this stuff here there is more than one kind.

Thank you

I just tried to respond and it got lost. Here it goes again.
My Blepharitis is finally under control sometimes they feel a little heavy but nothing like they were.  I use the lid scrubs and not the baby shampoo anymore.  They work tons better.  I can wear eye makeup again and it doesn't bother my eyes.  I went to see a GREAT eye Dr. and come to find out my thyroid was making it worse.  They were more swollen.  I guess trying different things to see what works best.  I did take antibiotics to get it under control and it helped.  Do your eyelashes fall out because of it?  Mine were but now things are normal.  It is just frustrating.  Good Luck

I also have something they say is blepharitis, I have red eyelid on one eye and it keeps mattering up and if I try to get it off the eyelids it hurts and sometimes even bleeds because it is stuck on there so bad. I can't seem to find anyone who knows anything about it either. I do not understand why I can't be rid of this painful and embarassing affliction, I need help from some one to get rid of it just like you do.    Dee

A few questions I have been to 3 doctors and they don't all agree on the blepharitis. One eye Dr. said I had a little.  Ok so I have cleaned my lids and it's gone from there.  I went to my regular Dr. and he said it didn't look like blepharitis at all he said it was Dacryocystitis I guess that's why the inside is feeling like that with the white stuff in the eye. Is it possible that I have cleaned my lids so well that it's gone and that's why he says he doesn't think I ever had blepharitis?  This is just confusing to me.  The very first Dr. said it was Bacterial conjunctivitis and Allergic and I had crusting on my eyelashes. He said not blepharitis.  The Derm said doesn't look like blepharitis.  Can Dacryocystitis make your eyes itch? Isn't that bacteria also?  The white stuff comes out of my eyes.

Thanks for your help.

I don't know what you mean by white stuff in the eye???  The white stuff may be dried drops - just a guess.  If you just have a litte blepharitis, perhaps you can slow down on the lid scrubs?
