optic atrophy

I had an accident 7 years ago, I have optic atrophy in my left eye, I can see with that eye but I have blurred and darker vision, the doctor just gave me vitamins and glasses, what can you tell me about a possible cure, about stem cell theraphy, about a possible surgery? Any good advice is highly apreciated. thanks.

There is at present no clincal therapy for most cases of optic atrophy and you should concentrate onkeeping the other eye healthy and free from disease or injury.

I know the optic nerve cannot regenerate, i read about this, what do you think about medications like trophirax, atrotab, trophirin? which ones do you recommend? on their sites they said to alienate optic atrophy.
Where do you stand on stem cell theraphy?is that a small possibility?

No patent over the counter drug shilled on the internet will help.   I do not know if there are specific studies being done on humans using stem cells for optic atrophy. I doubt it. You can do a internet search.
