my dad is blind for the past 13 years AION-damage to optical nerve im willing to try anything any help?

Very unlikely anything can be done NOW. the optic nerve is brain tissue not really a nerve. The same problems as when the spinal cord is severed; brain tissue does not try and regenerate like peripheral nerves.
Someday ON and spinal cord damage will be fixable but not likely soon.
