For a few years I have been interested in surgery to ‘fix’ my graves diseased eyes. I cannot find a board certified orbital decompression surgeon in Dallas, TX. Does anyone have information I cannot find?
The type of surgeon that does that kind of work is a Oculo-plastic surgeon (an Eye MD with special training in the orbit, eyelids and tear ducts). All the medical school's departments of ophthalmology will have one. You can also go to www.aao.org and use the Find An Eye MD feature and request an oculoplastic specialist.
