pain and double vision after impact injury

I was boxing over a year ago and recieved a punch that caused double visiona dnpain when ever i moved my eyes. I i went to the doctors and was told it woul correct and heal itself and that my vision was fine. Last year i again recieved a punch to the same eye and again though not as bad this time deveoped double vision and pain when movng the eye, i went to the hospital and they told me that i had a small bleed and bruising in the muscles around the eye. The double vision and pain have gone now except when i look to extremes left and right,  I have asked doctors and optitions if there is anything that can be done to make the muscles stronger and stop this from happening again but have been told there isnt.
Is there anything that can be done?

As long as you don't have double vision when looking straight ahead, nothing likely should be done as it would risk having double vision for your central gaze.  I would consider giving up boxing if this has happened twice.  The likely scenario is that one of your extraocular muscles was permanently damaged by the bleed.  You could confirm this by seeing an oculoplastic specialist with a CT scan of your orbits to confirm.
