panic over vision

I just talked to an ophthalmologist. I will try to see my retinologist tomorrow, or another retinologist whom I have seen in the past. I am terribly scared. The black lines in my eyes are increasing; they still do not look like floaters. When I move my eye from side to side, I can see a thin streak of lightening, and the lines form in to a vertical wavy line. It looks like signs of a puckered retina that is trying to fold over, but I'm not a retinologist, just a scard person who has already lost vision in my left eye, from retinal detachment.

P.S.

Just to be on the safe side I believe you should avoid lifting even semi heavy objects, stooping to pick things up and definitely no abrupt movements...When your
eyesight is at stake you can't be too careful.

Take care,
Sophia

Dear vision271,

I  am not a doctor, but I'm quite sure you should be  seen by a professional IMMEDIATLY. Please don't wait any longer. The doctors on this forum are very helpful
and informative and will surely answer soon but I believe you need treatment ASAP.I do sincerely hope that you get looked at right away and that it's really nothing serious.

Wishing you very good luck,
Sophia
