peripheral "fireworks" ?

peripheral "fireworks" ?

I will sometimes see bright points of light making "loops" in my peripheral vision.  Usually happens after lifting something, or bending low enough to get my head even with my knees.  It will persist for up to a minute and is quite distracting.  Is this something to do with circulation or something I need to get checked out?

Could be something to do with a sudden rise or fall in blood pressure or could be indicative of vitreous traction on the retinal or even a vitreous or retinal detachment.  Would heve retina evaluated by ophthalmologist first then see primary care doctor to make sure you don't have orthostatic hypotension or some other blood pressure problem.
