permanent scotoma in 28 year old male?

permanent scotoma in 28 year old male?

My son is 28 years old and for the last 4 years has been getting permanent blind spots in both eyes, as well as some transient ones. They have done MRI studies, CT scans, ophthalmological testing, etc, but they cannot find anything wrong. Could this be a symptom of a systemic or genetic disease? Where should we look for help, as ophthalmologists, neurologists and neuroophthalmologists cannot seem to help?

Go to a world class eye care center. Be sure you take all your records. There are many fine such places across the US: Mayo's Cleveland Clinic Bascom Palmer (Miami), Wilmer Eye of John Hopkins, U of Michigan, Washington U, Emory, UCLA, USC, etc.
