phosphenes from high pollen count

Hello, I have had phosphenes for two weeks and they seem to have coincided with my areas extremely high pollen count. My eyes have been red, itchy, blurry, burning for these two weeks. I noticed this funny flash at the corner on my eye when going from a lighted room to a dark room. I have never had any eye trouble at all but then this started and I got scared. I can see sort of electrical lines when I close my eyes. My husband said he was seeing the same thing when he closed his eyes and also was having trouble seeing to type on his computer from blurry eyes. He said he saw a spark in the dark when he was looking at his plate in the dusk when we were on our patio. He had trouble driving due to blurry, red, runny eyes. So I started thinking, could the both of us have bad allergies from the 11.2 extremely high pollen count>? Can phosphenes also be from being dehydrated. Its been really super hot here and I feel like I could be dehydrated. My sister was the one who told me about phosphenes as I was really frightened that I was going blind. Can dry eyes cause this also? Thanks soooooo much

Phospenes don't cause blindness and are normal.

Pollen count is not related to phosphenes.
