pimple in eyes

Hi,
My husband is 32 years old, for the past one week he has got a pimple (small swelling bright red in color) in the left corner of his left eyes.
The ophthalmologist first suggested Tobaflam eye drops and luke warm water fermentation.
But the pain has not reduced, and again she gave him  Gatifloxacin ointment. Now he feels better. What is the reason for this pimple? Why does it occur?

Usually do to a clogged oil gland.  Multiple potential causes including bacterial overgrowth etc.  Could try to prevent future ones by placing warm compress on both eyes once a day, scrubbing the eyelashes gently everyday, and eating plenty of Omega-3 Fatty acids (fish oil, flax seed oil, etc).
