post argon laser for repair to retinal hole

hi, i had laser surgery last Friday and my eyesight is worse than before. It has now been 1 wk since, will y eyesight return back to normal as before the surgery?

Well lucky your retina didn't detach. Healing is much faster and prognosis much better of no RD has occured.

Thanks for your speedy reply
. I did speak to my surgeon yesterday and he replied that there should be no problems with my sight and that if there were it would not be so soon after lasering. But i am still concerned.
He did say that he used the strongest dilating drops when i mentioned my eyes were dilated for nearly 4 days and over sensitive to light, would these drops affect my sight at all. Close reading is OK but my far sight is effected and i have trouble reading signs/number plates, they were fine before op.
I had gone for a routine eye test and was found to have retinal holes and sent straight away to eye hospital, it was lasered then and there. No information was given and no advice was given, just happened so quick, it was frightening. Still in shock now!!
