post catract question

On July 17th, I had my cataract surgery on my right eye. My vision is limited to about three feet. After that it is a blur. One of the meds I am taking is Pred Forte. One site says that it delays healing in cataract surgery and that my pressure should be checked regularily. I have yet to see the doctor on a post followup. He wants to do my left eye in two weeks and I am concerned that if it is no better than my right, I will be hurting for certain. Very depressed over this whole fiasco.

Are you saying that you had cataract surgery on July 17, and you have not seen your surgeon since then????  That is certainly not standard!  Why don't you call the office to express your concern about Pred Forte, and see if you can't get an immediate followup appointment.   It sounds to me like your right eye is nearsighted post-surgery.  In your place, I'd find another doctor to do my left eye, and I'd get my medical/surgical records transferred there.
