post op macular hole surgery

I had macular hole surgery and I am  high myope  now I have a large scotomata that is central  I lost my depth perception and would like to know if this is common and what may have happened.  I am one year post op and am still figuring out what I have lost    can you tell me what I need to know to adapt to my new surroundings?L

I would recommend that you seek the care of your eyeMD and ask him/her the question.  Depending upon the extent of damage and length of time of the hole was present, your symptoms may vary.
