post orbital surgery symptoms

I had a blow-out orbital fracture and was surgically repaired a week ago.  My question is;
Is it normal to have doubble :) vision from my injured eye (right eye covered)  and how long should it last
                                                                             Eye just want to see

One of the reasons that blow out fractures are repaired is that it often causes double vision BEFORE  surgery. If you did not have double vision before surgery and have it after surgery that is abnormal.

Also if you cover one eye and see double out of the eye that is not covered, especially if you are looking only through your injured eye that also is abnormal.

There are several types of surgeons that do blow out fractures (ENT, plastic, oral surgeons, EyeMD)
If your surgeon is not an ophthalmologist (Eye MD) you need to see one very very soon for a complete medical eye exam including a dilated exam of the back of both eyes to rule out an injury in the inside of the eye.

This is important, the most serious consequence of a blowout fracture is damage to the eye, not the fracture of the eggshell thin bone below the eye.
