post silicon oil removal surgery

i had scleral buckle and laser surgery performed in my right eye last year, after four months silicon oil was been put in the eye  for about eight  but two weeks before the silicon was to be removed my doc told me something about  the liquid  been mixed with silicon oil  and that during the silicon oil removal operation he would have to wait and see if the retinal is been stabled but if not he would have to eject the eye again with  another silicon oil this he did, unfortunately the retinal was not stable so he ejected the eye with another silicon oil  my vision looks worse some days after the surgery and my doc told me there is a cataract formation in the eye. i noticed that if i close my left eye and  focus my right eye on an object at a distance i was unable to see anything that fall below that particular object i focus my eye on, the lower  part is dark as if shadow  is been cast at half of my vision. i  thought this would improve as the days goes by  but i have not seen any changes it's exactly a month after my surgery, pls can you explain to me what  is happening to my eye because it wasn;t like this  when the first silicon oil surgery was been performed. also what tablets apart from vit.E  can i take to improve my vision generally. There are no oral supplements that will help you recover faster or better from this surgery. Each eye is different. Use the search feature and archives to read about silicone oil in the eye. And discuss with your surgeon.
