pregnancy and uveitis

I am a 31 year old woman. I was diagnosed with posterior uveitis complicated by cystoid macular edema in the right eye. I have been on treatment for a year with fluorometholone and timolol eye drops. I am trying to conceive.           My doubts are
1) Will the eye medications I am currently on be harmful to the fetus? Do I have to discontinue them before getting pregnant?
2) Will pregnancy exacerbate the uveitis?
Kindly help.

These questions are excellent ones and I have to defer on answering since I am not a uveitis expert.  The effect of the pregnancy is totally unpredictable but I would present your question to a uveitis expert like Dr Janet Davis at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami.  The potential toxicity of the timolol and fluromethalone are easlly found by searching the internet for the pregnancy catagory rating of each one.Timolol is catagory C.
