In some people damage would develop to the eye from an IOP of 25 in a few months BUT other people could go a lifetime and never get damage.
Glaucoma is a very complex disease. Best thing is see an Ophthalmologist regularily to look for damage and a need to start treatment with drops or laser.

thanks, optic nerve ws checked by optometrist and she said everything is fine and to come back to check pressure and eyes in a year, is that too long ??or ok
I'm no doctor but was born with Glaucoma. As far as I know there is no definitive answer, as everyone's optic nerves are different. There are those who have pressure that high or higher and have no damage, and those who have normal to low pressure and end up having damage. If your pressure is 25 that is a bit higher than normal (10-21) and you should have your optic nerves examined by an Opthalmologist and have a visual field exam done to determine if any damage is being done.
Hope this helps and God Bless!
