problems after restor lenses put in

by memedenee, Aug 16, 2009 10:46PM
had restor lenses implanted..I can't see to drive at night. In addition my right eye has NEVER been
'right' from the start. Constant scratching and feeling like something in eye. Worst is a small sharp pin point pain in the ?  white area of one of my eyes. Dr. blamed issues on my RX's..but the problem was and is only in one eye,if it was the meds. it seems like 'both' eyes would react the same. Then dr. said problem was "dry eyes"..then put in permanent plugs in tear ducts. Still my right eye is making me nuts. It is like I want to constantly rub eye lid to try and stop scratching feeling. Now I learn restor lenses not recommended for 'people who rely on driving a night for a living"...Well, I don't make my living driving at night..but I can't see well at night. Can I have the restor lenses taken out and replaced with perhaps the rezoom lenses or if anyone knows...a better choice..tell me. This constant scratching and pain has to stop. I need a good eye dr. in the Houston area....I just don't know what to do...and nothing the dr. has done has really helped. As I said it is only in one eye.  Can the leses be changed? How or what can I do to be able to see at night to drive?

The scratching is related to a corneal problem.  The ReStor can be exchanges.   Search the forum.
