i went to my surgeon last week for  check up, my doctor told me to use artificial tears for maintenance, and pred forte for 3 days, the pred forte works, it removes the redness. But when i stop using it, my eye becomes red again. Is it ok if i use pred forte again?

When in doubt, contact your doctor again--and again, if need be.  What are you paying for otherwise?

No visine, murine, collyrium and other "whiteners" should be avoided and often make the problem worse. Discuss with your surgeon.

You need to ask your surgeon but usually steroid eye drops are used for that purpose. They need to be carefully monitored for side effects such as steroid glaucoma.
