pupils large and fixed

my 16 yr old came home, his pupils were large and fixed no reaction to light when i shone light in his eyes ,im worried this might be drug related but have no proof why would pupils be large and fixed? please help

Could be drugs. Even excitement which causes big pupils they still react. Better talk to him and perhaps your family doctor will draw a blood sample for drug toxicology, most of the common illegal drugs show up in a drug panel.

Don't test your kid for drugs, just talk to him.  A lot.  Every day.  If you test him, he'll think you don't trust him and then there are lots of things that he won't come to you about.
