"Floaters"

I have had floaters for the past three years and have been to numerous doctors and have been told "live with it there is nothing that can be done".  No one seems to realize how difficult it is to just "live with it"!!!  As time goes on they continue to get worse.
I would like to know if you are aware of any "chat rooms" for people who, like myself, are trying to deal with this situation?

Susan, I am not aware of any chat rooms related to this topic.  Some of our readers may and hopefully they will comment.  Floaters are certainly annoying and bother some people terribly.  Unfortunately, surgery would be the only option to remove the floaters other than waiting to see if they will disappear.  You could speak with a retinal specialist to see what they recommend.  Good luck.
