recent vision changes

A little over two weeks ago I awoke with these vision changes & it hasn't gotten any better.  I went to my opthomologist right away & he did many tests but they were all normal.  He said he doesn't know whats going on, maybe a migraine.
I have double vision and blurred vision. I feel like I am trying to see through someone else's eyeglasses---it feels weird---things are fuzzy & I cant see detail.  If I posistion my head - and my eyes - a certain way, I can focus a little better..  When I turn my head, & immediately turn it back to front posistion, its real blurry & I feel dizzy--- there is a delay in the vision coming back front & center, like its in slow motion.
I had a bad frontal headache for 5-6 straight days prior to these vision changes starting up, but gradually the headache got better.  However, I continued to have a "headache" just over my right eye, and that eye became tender to touch and hurt when I looked up--I still have these symptoms now, though they seem a little better.  The bad thing is my eyesight--it limits what I can and cannot do---a lot of difficulty trying to read, to drive, to take my daily walks, etc.
I went to my mast cell disease doctor  (I have systemic mast cell activation disorder) and he thinks its the mast cell disease causing the problem, so he increased my mast cell drugs.  But, it hasn't gotten any better yet. I still have a lot of trouble with my eyesight.  What is your idea about all this?  Have you seen patients with these kind of symptoms?  What do you think causes it?  Do you know anything about mast cell disease causing eye problems like this?  Anything you can add will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

It is very hard for me to comment on these vague symptoms without some objective findings.   Is your vision 20/20?  Do you have double vision when only looking out of one eye?  Ask your doctor for a referral to a neuro- ophthalmologist.
