recovery after multifocal lens for cataracts

I had cataract surgery done a week ago today. I chose for the multifocal lens. However a week after surgery my long distance vision is not improving.  Is this normal? Will it continue to improve, compared to other people my sight is taking a lot longer to improve.

Dear jettson6,

Lens implants come in different sizes and are not always perfect for an individual.  It may heal over time due to swelling or might need to be corrected.  Give it time and ask your eyeMD to explain more with you.

What lens did you have implanted. Research the forum archives for multifocal/monofocal iol lenses.  You will find a lot of info there.
