recurring styes

by Debra5558, Mar 26, 2008 10:07PM
Are recurring styes a symptom of dry eyes? I have dry eyes especially in the winter months and in these months seem to have many instances of styes under the eyelid. Would nighttime eye lubricants help prevent styes from occuring?

Dry eyes and eye infections such as styes, chalazia, conjunctivitis are related.

What would probably help a great deal is get TheraTears SteriLid eyelid cleaner available all drug stores over the counter and use daily to clean lides.

Using Genteal Gel (OTC) at bedtime would make your eyes feel better.
