red, yellow eyes

My eyes have been red and yellow for about 3 months. Been treated by dr with Lotemax and its not getting better. i cant wear contacts anymore. Every dr tells me the same thing, its just dr eye.. but its so yellow, brown and feels sore and straing. what can I do? see a geenral practitioner?

I would suggest seeing an ophthalmologist that specializes in external disease and cornea.  In the USA find one at www.aao.org

If it is dry eyes go to Dr. Hagan's blog and read the section on advanced treatment of dry eyes.

True yellow eyes due to jaundice is rare. More common the eye is yellowish due to sun damage over the years.

A general physicial with a GP with ruling out liver and thyroid disease might be helpful.
