Thanks but my -12 eye has just done a corneal transplant which stitches are still around therefore my ophthalmologist put me on contact lens. I will look for my ophthalmologist for a better understanding.

Your contact lens is irritation your eye. It could be not fitting well, the contact could be damaged or warped, you could have dry eyes or allergy, you may be someone that cannot wear contacts.

I would see a refractive/cornea/ Eye MD ophthalmologist. You may be a good candidate to have lasik on the -12 eye to reduce it to closer to what your -4 eye has. Because glasses and contacts often don't work well there is a good chance that your insurance might pay for your lasik. The refractive surgeon and their staff can help you get pre-authorization.
