redness etc

I wear contact lenses and a lot of the times I don't take them out before I go to bed. One day I woke up, and my eyes were red and irritated. I took the contacts out and examined my eye closely. The nerves in one eye look especially strained since they are noticably red and look thicker. In both eyes there's a browinish lining around my pupil. However my eyes don't hurt nor do I have headaches. What do you think this is? It's been a day and they still look the same. I'm concerned about the browinish lining more than anything. It also looks kinda glossy.

Most likely contact lens overwear.  It could also be an infection.
