relaxing incision

How effective is the LRI relaxing incision after lens implants to improve astigmatism.  I had lens implants 10/07 and still have very, very blurry vision.  My doctor states it is from astigmatism, My vision now is worse than prior to the surgery.  Should i be hopeful that LRI will work the second time?   If not what should iI do?

I've read that LRI's eliminate (on average) about 50% of the astigmatism.  My own results were a little better than this.  I was told that the most reliable way to correct astigmatism is by LASIK.  An experienced refractive surgeon could advice you as to what would work best for you after examining your eyes.

First its very important that if you have a glasses lens in front of the eye with the proper glasses RX that is the astigmatism corrected that you see good. If you don't then the problem is likely some health issue. If astigmatism glasses make you see good then you can talk to you eye surgeon about LRIs or LASIK.
