repeat cataract surgery

I had cataract surgery last year at the age of 59, however, I still have to wear glasses as I beleive the doctor placed the wrong prescription in one eye. Can he do the surgery over again? (a toric lense was used.)

Dear Nicky987,

Not all patients can experience freedom from glasses after cataract surgery.  If you desire to be less dependent on glasses, you might want to have your eyes checked to determine whether laser vision correction is an option for you.  It might also be possible to exchange the implant as well. The risks and benefits of each procedure should be explained at length to you.
