retinal care

by 68flygirl, Apr 23, 2009 08:06AM
I had emergency laser treatment for a retinal tear yesterday.  I have lattice degeneration of the retina.  I was told to avoid lifting anything heavy and not to bend forward for 4 weeks.  I had no symptoms before the surgery and have none since.  I feel perfectly fine.  I'm wondering if I can continue taking my Pilates class twice weekly as long as I don't bend from the waist?

Ask your surgeon, that's the only way to know for sure.
