scar tissue 3 months after retinal detachment surgery

Hi, I had a detached retinal surgery back in November. It seemed to work find and after a while I could see very well out of the eye. Then about six weeks ago, I started to lose my central vision in that I eye. The retinal doctor said scar tissue had formed. I had surgery a week ago to remove the scar tissue. The doctor says it will probably take at least 3 months for the eye to be back to normal. My guestion is will it ever be back to the 20/20 I was seeing before the scar tissue formed. Please let me know.  My email is ***@****
