scleritis help

HI i have been diagnosed with scleritis for three years now ,the only treatment offered by doctors has been steroid eye drops,tablets and antinflamatory tabs, the steroid eye drops make my eye less red but make no diffrence to the pain and light sensitivity, i get regular flareups every month lasting about 9 days but it also flares up in between as well at random.  The pain on bad days is incredible and im starting to lose hope that i will ever get back to normal, im female in my early twenties hoping someone out there can help me with any information on treatments that help or futher tests i could suggest to my doctor to find out why its happening ,thankyou

You might ask you ophthalmologist to refer you to a uveitis specialist.
