scratch on eye ball....Cornea

by savannahcharlestx, Jul 04, 2009 01:43AM
Have had constant ongoing issues with my right eye since I had restor lenses imiplanted....let the so called doctor use the yaz lazer on that eye...something about 'fluid' in there....anyway...went back to dr. because of PAIN in eye and surprise surprise...I am told that there is a scratch on the Cornea....of course the patient(ME) was blamed for that...so now what do I do....just told to put natural tears in eye...it has been about two years since the restor was put in ..can it be taken out and replaced ?? If "yes" what should I replace it with now?

Get a second opinion.  After a yag the IOL is very difficult to replace.
