scratchy dry eyes

After cataract surgery my eyes feel scratchy and burn. I get no relief from tears. i may have suffered from dry eyes before the surgery but this is really bothering me no. I heard of puncton plugs. can that help.

Punctal plugs are devices that are inserted into the tear ducts of tears.
