seeing ghosting at lights when squinch

starting this week, when i look at street lights, red, green from far and I quinch my eyes, I see multiple images of the light next to each other., i believe it ghosting effects.
this happen only when i squinch my eyes to bright light from far, the more far i am from the light, i see more ghosting images, when i get closer it became less, this only happen when i squinch my eyes, sqinch it harder, more ghosting images i see.
lately i notice my eyes have problems perceiving lights. can this be the begining of cornea disease?
what can cause this type of symptoms, i'm myopia and have astigsmanism.

When you squeeze your eyes hard you create irregular corneal astigmatism which causes the ghosting

before it wasn't like this though dr.
before this week, when i squinch my eyes, i see things more clear, now, when i squinch my eyes, i see ghosting and rays coming off light.
does this mean that my astigmatism increases? because i do know for sure i have astigmatism and nearsighted, dunno if it regular or irregular astigmatism, but i know i have astigmatism according to my eye dr.
maybe i need my glasses update?

Don't squench your eyes and it won't be a problem.
