snow blindness

1).so, how would you know if you have snow blindness?( like what are the symptoms)  
2).what is the length of time for you to stare at the light reflected are, in order for your eyes to be damaged.
3). can a doctor realize that your cornea is burnt when examining eyes?

1. You go out in the snow for a long time when its sunny and without eye protection. They you have red painful eyes, blurred vision, watering and sensitivity to light.
2. Varies, you don't stare at the light its reflected in off the show (or water)
3. You will realize it before the doctor does
