soap in eyes

i had got soap in my eyelid last night and then rinsed it out but i woke up this morning with a swollen red eyelid is it anything to worry about or what should i do

You can use artifical tears, and warm compresses. you should do find. Soap is not very toxic. If not well on Monday see an Eye MD

Is it only the lid? You could put a cold compress on the LID. When somethng like this happens you can also call the poison control center 24 hours a day. The doctor will review this post. I am not a doctor?
