space between eyes hurts

i accidentally pressed the space between my eyes(i think it's called the nasal bridge or near it) too hard, and now it really hurts. if you really bruised it, can this cause damage to the eye muscles or blindness?
It is the spaces between the two eyes.

You cannot cause eye damage by pressing on the nasal bridge.
