starbursts

It has been almost 4 months since I had lasik eye surgery and my regression seems stable but the starbursts are worse then ever.   I was told that my new eye glasses would correct them as they were most likely due to my prescription.  The strange thing is while my new eye glasses help with clarity (and they are my prescription, I had them checked), they make the starbursts worse (only at night) to the point that the light is now warped.  I can't read gas station signs (the neon ones) or streetlights.  The lights literally go sideways.  The lasik surgeons don't want to do an enhancement until they figure out what's going on, but they don't seem to know (at a loss they are).  
What would be the cause of this?

The starburst may not get better.  See if a contact lens help (this would simulate an enhancement more than glasses).  Also, try Alphagan to constrict the pupils at night and see if it helps.

Even I am facing the same problem.I even tried RGP's but none of them are fitting perfectly due to the unstable cornea which the doctor's talk in the terms of flat/steep.I tried Alphagan P/Brimosun P Eye drops and they do help gettin d vision clear at night but it results into a severe headcahe and heaviness of eyes and even my doctor said it has many side effects so avoid it.This is the worst thing I am facing which almost makes me impossible to go out at night.Please help

I had no luck with the eye drops either and had similar reactions.
How long ago did you have the surgery and do you think an enhancement would help you?
I have also suffered from dry eyes (I have some days that are better then others, and with the cold climate of Canada it is hard) and I did have halos but they have lifted now.  I also have regression so I'm hopeful a second sugery will help with the star bursts and the regression but the docs want to wait a bit.  I think what I see now is what I'm left with to be honest.

                 I got my Lasik done [My Worst Decision Ever] since 1 and a half year back.Initially for 6-8 months everthing was fine except dryness but later on I started facing halos,glare,starbursts,double vision. I asked my Doctor[butcher actually :"( ] who performed lasik on me regardin this symptoms and he said this symptoms are bound to happen after lasik.I was like wtf ? why dint u tell me all this before the operation ? and for the treatment he said an enhancement surgery is not suitable for most of the patients as it makes the cornea more thinner making the condition of the eye worse in near fuure.I tried many of the RGP lenses but none of them fiting perfectly .I am going to give a try to Boston Scleral Lens in next few days.Lets see if they work.But they are VERY costly :-(

I got some bad news yesterday, I saw an outside (from lasikmd) eye surgeon and he feels that the starbursts are permanent due to scars on the flaps of both eyes.  The right eye had a wrinkled flap and that is what caused that scar but he does not know what caused the left one.  He also feels a second surgery would be too dangerous and would only make things worse, so I am stuck with this sight it seems.  I haven't heard of that lens you spoke of, what are they and how do they work?

yes the starbursts are permanent.I just found Z-wave contact lens to get rid of this problem.Just google it buddy.

But first give a try to RGP lenses [ Rigid Gas Permeable ] lenses.They will definitely reduce your starbursts mandatory they fit in your eyes properly.I cudn't opt for it as my cornea is un-even :-(
