stared at sun glare

so,today was really sunny and there was this huge sun glare shining on top of the table that was made of stone. so it could reflect the light into the eyes. it was really bright and it was really uncomfortable. i stared at if for like 5 min. because i was daydreaming. will this damage the eyes and burn part of it? im really scared.

I suppose if you really stared into if for that long, you could have caused some damage.  There is no way to know other than to have your eyes checked out.  You would notice a very blurry spot directly in the center of the vision of one or both of the eyes.  If you don't have that you are probably going to be OK.  Just in case, I suggest you have a complete eye exam with a board-certified ophthalmologist.

Sungazing can definitely damage your eyes and should be avoided.  I'm going to have to post a longer piece on my blog about this since it seems to be a popular topic.

or are your eyes just blurry?
