strabismus plus nystagmus with weak eye sught

Hello Doc,
I wanted to ask you that from my early childhood i am having nystagmus with strabismus and weak eye sight.I wear eye glasses but these are only to clear my blurred vision,even with the glasses my far vision is not 6/6.All of my siblings have the same condition except one.We contact doctors few says only strabismus can be corrected not the eye sight and other says nothing is possible..my mother has potosis and same condition but my father has diabetes and essential hypertension with weak sight(with eye glasses his vision is 6/6.I want to know your opinion in this regard as this is affected me socially alots.Thankyou

Conditions that cause poor eyesight from childhood and have nystagmus are very difficult to treat.  Unlikely that the eyesight can be improved.  nystagmus can be slightly neutralized and strabismus can be fixed with a complicated surgical procedure but no guarantee that it will stay that way.  Go see a pediatric ophthalmologist.
