subconjunctival hemmorhage

I've had significant red splotches on the white of my left eyeball three times in as many months.

I do not have high blood pressure (actually, mine is about 100 over 60), and I do not have diabetes.

I have blood work every few months to monitor cholesterol and hypothyroidism.  At this time I am not taking any cholesterol-lowering medicine; however, I do take a very small dose (.075mg) of Levothyroxine daily.

I am a 68 year old woman.  I had prosthetic lenses for cataracts in 1998.

You need a yearly eye examination by an ophthalmologist. Perhaps you already have one. Discuss this next examination. Most often its not anything serious.
