sudden change in eye size

I  have recently had some medical problems.  In March I had a miscarriage, and a spinal tap.  Then I had a sever reaction to a medication.
I am a 43 years old female. Soon after all of this I noticed that  my left eye  is pushed out; slightly bulging. The colored  part of the left eye is slightly higher than my right eye.  This gives the appearance of uneven eyes.

My blood work shows that my thyroid is within the normal range.

I have been getting headaches.  They are on the  left side of my head.

Do you have any ideas as to what may be causing this?  My vision seems blurry in the morning, this seems to dissipate by noon.

Thank You,

A bulging eye (exophthalmos) needs to be thoroughly investigated as there are some things that are quite serious than can cause it (example a tumor behind the eye). You will probably need a MRI of the head and orbit. I suggest you consult an ophthalmologist or if you would even more specialized you could see a oculo-plastic surgeon. This is an ophthalmologist (Eye MD) that does more esoteric problems of the eyelids, orbit and tear sac.   You can go to the website of the Am Acad of Ophthamology www.aao.com and use the Find an Eye MD feature.  Also since Grave's disease or hyperthyroidism is the most common cause you may need more than the regular thyroid tests that are part of a multi-chemical general blood analysis.
