swollen eyes

My daughter is in college.  While living in the dorm, she came dowm with what I thought were allergies.  The main sympton was swollen itchy eyes with flakey dry skin.  Nothing seems to work, claritin, or benedryl.  Her skin around the eyes and on the lids is flakey.  Her eye lids are very swolen.  She is exhausted. The only time it was significantly improved, was during the fall break, when she came home.  Someone Help!!!

It should be obvious she needs to see and Eye MD physician for a definitive diagnosis and treatment. Ask you GP to refer you to an Eye MD or go to www.aao.org to find one near you.
