I am left a bit at sea on your reply. You said there may be side effects but gave no particulars. Could you possibly add a note or two on what might go awry?
Thanks
Dear MJABS,
Plugs can be inserted temporarily or permanently into one’s tearducts to prevent drainage of tears from the eyelid into the nose. As with any procedure, there are potential side effects. The benefits of this usually outweigh the risks.
