tear film debris

Sir,
my friend is 15 and highly myopic. he has 3-4 floaters. recently he strted noticing black shadows floating when he moves his eyes. the shadow begin from left side and disappears in the bottom of the vision.sometimes they a number of these shadows rotate in the bottom part of vision when he moves his eye.is this normal floater  or tear film debris or something else. he have read about tear film debris and got to know that they are black in colour. how can he distinguish tear film debris from actual floater? how do tear film debris look like?it will be of great help to my friend who has lost hope.he would really want some information about them.
thank you so much. This site is of great help.

Its vitreous floater i.e normal one no the tear film debris. Tear film debris responds to eye blinking but vitreous floater will only respond to eye movements.
