teary eye

Why would one eye tear all the time?  my left eye tears all the time.
I've tired different mascaras and eyeliners but none seem to make a difference.

There are many causes from a blocked tear drainage duct to local eye or lid problems.  See an ophthalmologist.

Dr.Ray is right , there are many condition for the tearing may be the blockage of the lacrimal duct , so its better to see an ophthalmologist .

Just and fyi to all, I had seen a general doc and advised of my teary eye, she advised that it could be allergies, rx'd Zyrtec, it's been doing better and had not teared up as much..
I'll still contact an Opthlamologist though, thank you all!

I'm not an eye care professional, but it seems unlikely that an allergy would affect only one eye.  Yes, see an ophthalmologist.
