temporary partial vision loss

by Dar1955, Nov 05, 2009 01:14AM
My vision will temporarily go out at the focal point. What I mean by that is, everything is normal except for the center. If I am reading, the words that I am looking at are blink. But, the words all around are perfactly clear and I have normal peripheral vision. This condition can last from 45 minutes to 2 hours.

I thought that it might be a mini stroke but, I don't have any of the other signals.

This sounds like an ocular migraine.  You can have migraine vision changes without a headache.  If you also have the headache-type migraine, then almost certainly you are having ocular migraine.

You should still be thoroughly examined by an Eye-MD.  Find one at www.aao.org.
