terrible eye pain

Last week, I experienced a severe "blow out", a vessel or something broke in my eye.  My eye (not around the eye, the orbit itself) was very painful.

The eye cleared up and the pain subsided.  Now, two days later, the eye is again in severe pain; ie blinking, moving around, and just relaxing.  The redness, although not as bad has reappeared.

I am actually worried.

Hello crawfomk, I'm actually worried also. Severe pain around the eye is an emergent problem. You need to see an Eye MD (Ophthalmologist) as soon as possible to establish a diagnosis.
